Accessibility statement
Last reviewed: October 20, 2026.
We want DealDialect to work for everyone, including people who use assistive technology, keyboards only, slow connections or older devices.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we have done
-
Text and background colors chosen to meet contrast requirements, in light and dark mode.
-
Meaning is never shown by color alone. Message Check flags use an icon and a label as well as color.
-
The whole site works with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines and a "skip to content" link.
-
Every meaningful image has alt text. Any video has captions or a transcript.
-
Forms have visible labels and clear error messages.
-
Animations respect your device's "reduced motion" setting.
-
A Lite mode hides decorative images for slow connections, and quick cards print cleanly.
-
We test with automated tools and with manual keyboard and screen reader checks. Automated: axe-core and Google Lighthouse on every page, in light and dark mode. Manual: keyboard testing of the main pages and forms. Screen reader testing with VoiceOver and NVDA is planned before launch.
Known limitations
- The Word and PowerPoint files in the workshop kit have not yet been checked for accessibility. The PDF versions are tagged for screen readers. We plan to check the Word and PowerPoint files before launch.
