Checking in after silence
- Channel
- Phone script
- Use when
- Several weeks have passed without a reply and you want to reconnect personally.
Tip: Silence is often not a refusal. A personal call shows that the relationship matters to you.
Fill every field before you send. Remove any line that does not apply, rather than leaving a field empty. Adjust the greeting to the time of day where your partner is.

Before the call: check the time in {{Market}} and call during working hours.
Greet: "Good morning, {{PartnerTitle}} {{Surname}}. This is {{MyName}} from {{MyCompany}}. How are you, and how is your family?"
Reason: "It has been some time since we last spoke, and I wanted to check in with you personally."
Ask: "How are things at {{PartnerCompany}}? Is our proposal for {{Product}} still of interest, or has anything changed?"
Listen: Let the partner explain fully. Do not push for a decision.
Offer: "If anything in the proposal needs adjusting, I would be glad to look at it together."
Close: "Thank you for your time. I will send a short note to confirm what we discussed."
7 fields still to fill in.
